S~on~S Denim toppers
Hi everyone, this week I've designed something a little different and if you get a moment could you leave me a comment as to whether you'd like more or less of this kind of sheet. Thanks ever so. I hope to post a card this afternoon that I'm making using elements from this sheet so catch you all later. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope the weather is being kind to you wherever you are in the world.
As promised here are the cards that I've made with the above sheet, both cards were really quick to make so are ideal if you need a card quickly.
Recipe
The 1st card I cut out leaving a tiny border around the pattern and then used a corner punch. I added this with SU dimensionals and used 2 brads that were bought some while ago at the Lakeland store. For the 2nd card I cut a tag from the denim border using the SU punch and added some ribbon from stock. I then used a sakura crystal pen to add a dotted corner on the top of the card.

Paint brushes ~Cards
Here are a couple of cards I've made using todays sheet.
Recipe
Card 1
I used the smaller topper and added a SU round tab from the backing sheet, and attached it with an Anita brad. Then added a peeloff sentiment and stars and added the topper with dimensionals. The card base was a 5" square card.
Card 2
I used the larger topper and cut along the top of the side box area (somewhat crookedly! ) and passed a strip of backing sheet through. The ribbon I added on top of the strip was from my stock. I made the 'flower' using a SU boho punch added a brad from stock. The card base was a 4" square card.

S on S Mod mix
Morning everyone, thought I'd make something a little different for this Saturdays offering, as usual I've designed it to be printed on A4 landscape. As you can see from my cards that I've made using this sheet my printer isn't working properly and won't print anything other than green and yellow tones! lol I must say I like the colours my printer has used and if any of you would like me to make the sheet with these colours just let me know and I'll see what I can do! lol
Recipe for the cards
for the flower one I cut out the peices from the sheet and added a SU punches 3 flower for the centre with a brad from my stash. I used gold peeloffs and coloured the flowers with SU Gable green and the leaves with Sage shadow.
For the butterfly card I cut out the peices as you can see and layered them onto a papermania scallop edge card. nd added some star dust stickles in the centre of the butterfly. I also drew in the butterfly antennae I think using the gable green.

DIY cards
Here we are as promised. This week I've made 2 cards using yesterdays sheet as the thankyou card was made so quickly! lol Here's how I did them.
Birthday cardI used an oval template that I made from another piece of card and sponged this using whispers ink for the green tones and an inspiration ink for the sky. I then added a fine bronze colour peeloff around the oval. The sentiment topper was made using SU designer label punch with a peice of pearlescent green card and the small sentiment. I then attached this to the strip with SU dimensionals.
Thankyou card
I used the fiskers running water border punch on the striped paper and add the the sentiment to a peice of green card and attached with 2 SU dimensionals.

Glamour puss
I've made this card for the challenge over at creativecraftchallenges There's some fantastic DT cards there. The topper and backing paper are a Kanban design. I used a border punch on the side and added black glitter to it.
Halloween turtle
Here's the card I made using this weeks free sheet. I also added the witch and pumpkin from halloween confetti using 1mm depth foam pads. For the 'x' pattern I cut a slither of the border and then cut it into 4 pieces. For the border around the topper I used bronze fine line peeloffs and the base card is white 5x7".

JAI 35 - Theme challenge

This week at Just Add Ink the challenge is a theme which is sympathy. I have made this tag card to attach to a bouquet of flowers. The peeloff is from Anitas range and I used whispers brushstrokes and a blender pen to colour the rose in. The flower is from a £1 shop/dollar store 'silk' flower that I took apart and re-assembled adding the red brad for the centre. The pearl and gold beads are from a cake decorators shop! I thought they'd look better on a card! lol

Thanks - JAI 33 challenge

Hi I loved the sketch challenge on Just add Ink this week and here's my interpretation of it.
Recipe
The cardstock and ds paper are Stamin up along with the scalloped circle and heart punches. The heart is from the punch that has the 3 hearts on it (sorry forget its name! lol) I added Anitas 3d gel to the heart and drew dots on the square using a white gel pen. The designer paper I used a fiskers border punch and then ran the strip through my crimper.

Colt card
Here you go as promised a card made using the last free sheet. I didn't realise until printing that the circle in the bottom wasn't too clear so I put a sticker over it! I layered the topper onto gold metalic card and adding it using SU dimensionals onto the card over the silver and gold zigzag peel offs that I added diagonally to the cream card.

JAI #31

Here is the card I've made for the Just Add Ink Challenge. Hope you like it. Unfortunately the picture makes the chocolate chip look greyish. I used the sheets in previous post and sponged the edges with chocolate chip ink. The tags were cut using the jewel tag punch from Stampin up and I added a few seed beads from my stash. The flowers were cut out and I put Anitas 3d gel glue on them. (same as Stampin up Crystal effects) Then I added them with 1mm depth foam pads.

Sparky and Fudge

When I saw these photos I just had to make some cards with them. Sparkey and Fudge were in the news in January this year in Australia as Sparky the week-old miniature donkey was rejected by his mother after a difficult birth. He is being raised at Ashington Park Stud in Melbourne, and has a surrogate mum and companion in the form of a teddy bear called Ted that his carer brought for him. He has also made friends with a baby Alpaca named Fudge. Awwww
